Why silk?

Anti-ageing. Silk reduces friction that causes tugging of facial skin. It helps retain your face moisture, as silk fibres are comparatively less absorbent than other fibres. It also reduces creasing of the skin as your face glides over the pillow while you sleep.

Anti bed-head. Hairstylists and dermatologists around the globe recommend silk for hair, as it reduces friction and preserves your hair. Ordinary pillowcases end up pulling and tangling your hair and cause bedhead. Mulberry silk is also known to reduce frizziness, so toss and turn without any worry.

Care Instructions:

• Hand wash in cool water below 30°C with a silk or delicates detergent — the gentlest method
• Or machine wash inside a mesh bag on the delicate cycle, cold water, low spin
• Dry cleaning is also suitable
• Do not soak, rub or wring. Avoid bleach, fabric softener and enzyme detergents
• Hang or lay flat to dry indoors, away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry
• Wash every 5–7 days, or every 3–4 days if you use rich night creams or hair oils
